And those who ignore or distort the details recorded in God's word to make it fit what they want to teach can't benefit from the jots and tittles therein.<BR/> <BR/>Many teach this passage by portraying Jesus as a normal funeral attendee who gets overtaken by emotion at any given funeral but this idea is demonstrably false.<BR/> <BR/>LazarusComeForth.com is a good study if you are open to being corrected from the scriptures. It has a free study which cites nothing but the plain text of scripture that might give you some new insights regarding Lazarus, who Jesus called his "friend" and who scripture tells us "Jesus loved".
